New MPH Record and Official #1 Qualifier for 2019 Good Vibrations March Meet!
The Dan Horan StriveTesting.com Nitro Funny Car had a pretty good day! With a brand new engine and a car that debuted mid way through the season in 2018, we felt we had a pretty good combination going into 2019. Hard work and perseverance during the off season really paid off today. The entire off season our goal was to put ourselves in a position to win the Championship and while we are a long way from that lofty goal, we feel pretty good about our chances right now.
The car ran hard and straight and laid down a 5.66 @ 265.22 miles per hour! Good enough for the #1 Qualifier position on Friday night and set a new Nitro Funny Car Class MPH record!
Not a bad day at all.
